About Dead Pixel Test

Dead Pixel Test is an independent browser tool operated under the Dead Pixel Test name. It displays solid colors for visual screen inspection. It does not automatically detect or diagnose display defects.

What the tool can do

Inspect the display using solid colors, or try a small flashing patch for a stuck subpixel. Color cycling cannot repair a dead pixel caused by hardware failure, and recovery of stuck subpixels is not guaranteed.

How it works

The controls and screen information are processed locally in your browser. No account, upload, or installation is required. Browser bars, notches and rounded edges may limit the area you can inspect.
